Description
A junk type warship outfitted with a basic 1,100kw Oscillating steam engine driving two side mounted paddlewheels. She's about 50 meters long (more when the masts are factored in). She's armed with 36 guns (16 per broadside, two forward and two chase), among them being twenty 12 jin (7.164 kg) long guns and sixteen 24 jin (14.238 kg) carronades. All of the latter are in her broadside armament. She is fairly manuverable thanks to her paddle wheels. Her maximum speed is 40 li per hour. Her paddle wheels make her quite maneuverable, but they are somewhat vunerable to enemy fire despite being put into wooden boxes. Never the less her advantage in manuverability gives her and her counterparts an a decided advantage over dedicated sailing ships. She is more than capable of holding her own against the naval forces of uncooth Barbarians.
