A mashup featuring the two-member band Tartufi as they express themselves as either their inner demons, or as their battle to vanquish them. Plus, we had to get at least one more look out of this set (those shots will come later).Photographer: Jason Mitchell

Fantastic, very inspirational piece.
I assume then since it only features two people, you used a tripod setup and combined the images after, just curious as to the technique.

Thanks & you are correct. We locked it off on a tripod and had them come in and out with different outfits. Plus the beer cans (especially the ones bouncing on the bed) were shot as separates and added to the final. We also had the luxury of doing a rough comp to see if we needed anything extra before we tore the set apart. We did ... the ceiling (mostly visible in the center) was shot the following day.
