Location: Saidpur Village, Islamabad, Pakistan
The Village itself is encompassed within the city of Islamabad and its origins date back to the Mughal Times. There are attempts to preserve its heritage but I can not see it working well. The Village on one hand is being eroded by commercialism while the locals are left even poorer without any benefits.
There is a livestock market in the village, its mostly goats and sheep, a few cattle and sometimes the occasional camel.
