Definately reminded me of Coruscant from Star Wars, but thats what's so breath taking about this piece. That someone can actually draw on a level with proffesional computer digitalization! Kudos to you good sir. ^^

some really nice parts, like the mini impacts on the moon, but a lot of it feels fairly flat as opposed to 3d, most notably the right portion of the main planet. The clouds also seem as though they're springing out of the planets atmosphere a little. Not bad, but some things to work on.

Excellent use of light texturing, and the glowing streams of 'energy' or whateever, those are superb.
What techniques did you use to create the effects? (brushes, filters, etc.) I'd love to know if you're willing to share.
