Hi there,This's my latest painting of a fantasy environment on mountainpeaks.
Entirely done with Photoshop 7.
The lineart drawing was the most fun part of the progress: [link]
I played a bit around with orange lighting and gave up after 5 hours . . .

Just spent ages making some massive comment elsewhere, so breifly:
You already KNOW everyone loves the colours - especially the crystal effect just at the top of the stream of water coming down from the rock, where the ligjt is split in the water.
Love the impossibility of the real world trying to ruin the fantasy (Why _can't_ cities be built on a tall rock in the middle of a canyon with tiny little bridges connecting it to the outside world?).
And the composition is great too, with the overhanging rock and view of another city on the right. The focus is clearly on the highly defensive looking city on the huge, red rock.

Amazing on all accounts. Just out of curiosity, why did you flip your image over from the first two steps to your final piece? Amazing, and breathdefying. I have photoshop and obviously I'm missing something that program is capable of! Damn! BTW, did you use a tablet?
