Description
I drew some of the next-gen DBZ kids older (like early 20s-ish) in my style; Marron, Trunks, and Goten. Marron was a big re-design, since we only got a little bit of her in GT (which may or may not count, depending on the time of day), and she was kinda bland-looking. We need more chubby girls, and I find the idea that she winds up taller than both her parents really funny. No nose like her dad (but I like to draw sort of a bump there with Krillin, so I did that here too), and she’s got that 80s vibe that is always floating around in the Dragon Ball shows. We know more-or-less how Trunks will look thanks to future shenanigans, but I wanted him to look unique and different from the other time-line, so I gave him a side undercut (I think it suits him). Trunks is taller than both his parents as well (but his sister is a shorty like their dad). I didn’t know what the heck to do with Goten, his hair either just looks like Goku or Yamcha most of the time… so whatever, I chopped it all off (he just turns into a spiky porcupine when he goes Super Saiyan). I like to imagine that even though he had his dad’s hair as a kid, he actually takes after his mom in the face (so basically, he looks adorable). I also find the idea of him wearing shirts with 10 on them funny, because GO10 sounds that same as Goten~
