Recently, I re-watched the two Care Bears movies. Don't judge me. Any way, I drew the main kids from both movies. The two twins at the top are John and Dawn. The red-head is actually a villain who turns good names Dark Heart. The brunette in the hat is Christie. The blonde, older-looking boy is Nicholas. The blonde girl with longer pig-tails is Kim, next to her is her little brother Jason. I have always loved these movies, but now that I'm an adult, I'm noticing all sorts of deeper meanings in some of the Care Bears songs. I know it sounds silly but check this out; "I know you're thinking that nobody cares. You've got some feelings you don't want to share. But if your troubles stay all stuck inside, they're going to grow until they're too big to hide." I mean, that is legitimate advice. Sometimes, you need someone to talk to and help with your problems. Laugh all you want, but the Care Bears are hard-core; in the first movie, there is an evil spirit that takes the form a talking face inside a spell-book. It wants to get rid of peoples feelings of friendship and happiness, which causes everyone to fight, break things, and hurt each other. Physically. The second one is... almost like a story about the son of the devil or something. I won't get into all the crazy details, but my point is the Care Bears and the Cousins kick butt with the power of love. They are cool, end of story.
