Today was my dad's birthday, so I thought I'd share a few pictures we have of him.
His name is John Allen Grant, known by some as JAG and The Mountain Man.

He was a motorcycle racer, who would ride two-wheelers and quads on the dirt and ice tracks.
He actually got pretty famous: he was awarded the national number 50, and Fire and Ice did a special on him that aired on TV.

He died when he was 59 after dealing with cancer for a few years. I was with him when he died, and the last thing I said to him was "Pop, I just want you to know I love you, and whatever happens, I'll be OK and you'll be OK".
