*cues Beauty and the Beast theme*

EDIT: I did a bit of research, and the general consensus is that the Beast's real name is Adam. Disney says that officially he does not have a name, but that is what the screenwriters unofficially dubbed him, according to various sources.

I love this movie. It's my favorite Disney movie. Surprising, perhaps, but I really love it. Belle's awesome. Best Disney princess. Ever. And the animation is so beautiful; there's something special about that traditional style. I can never do it justice, but I did my best. I tried to come up with an original idea.

I know there are a lot of mistakes in this drawing, but I was focusing more on the theme and emotions behind it rather than technicalities. How do you like the background? I've never drawn a background with colored pencils (it took *forever*), so I hope it turned out alright. It sure was a pain.

I hope to do more drawings like this in the future. It sure was a lot less messy and a lot more interesting than using pastel dust for the background. what I really need to do is learn how to use photoshop...but this will have to do for now. Please tell me what you think!
