For I FINALLY got to see "Strange Minds"!!!!! I couldn't believe how good it was! Best Joker episode, no doubt! My mind started to whirl with Joker's mind, it was so chaotic. Words alone don't express how much I loved this episode. I would not want to be surrounded by that many Jokers....the true one, yes, but not that many. At least not all at one time. *naughty grin* By far, the best one I've ever seen and probably ever will.I loved the thought of the actual "idea factory", Jack Napier's pre-acid bath days, and the arias. O.O Why would they do that to poor Joker??? I wanted to hug him in the end...Joker shouldn't have to sob.... He should be putting smiles on peoples faces and causing mayhem and destruction! *gives him hugs and cookies*
I remembered how much loved this episode, so I did some fanart for her. ^^ Time taken: about 7 hours, on an off

Strange Minds is by far my favorite Joker episode. 
I always wanna cry when villains cry, probably 'cuz the sudden three-dimensionality. I mean, in The Batman, you see Joker cry, you see penguin cry, you see Riddler cry...And all this coming from the girl who didn't cry when Marley and Me's Marley died, didn't cry when Flynn Ryder died, didn't even cry when Jack from Titanic died. D:
Still, I love the episode, and this!

I'm not sure what it is about the end of this episode, but when I saw Joker crying for the first time, I really did feel sad for him. I've never really felt that way with a cartoon before.

How did I miss this one, Chels? ^_^ It WAS a great episode, and I thought Jack there was rather cute, all he wanted was to make people laugh!
But bizarre how he talks about Joker as if he's someone else, cause he's really not... o.0;; The man has a split personality I guess!
The end was hard to watch with him crying in the cell. Just like Joker dying in the Batmas TAS movie, "Return of the Joker". When he said, "That's not funny...that's not...*Gasp*" I think I really did almost cry. Call me weird but I can't stand to think of Joker dying, it makes me feel real sad somewhere deep inside.
So when he cried, that didn't sit well either. ERG,

Poor Jack... I felt so bad for him. The only rational...thought (?) in Joker's head. 
I felt SOO bad for Joker in the end, sobbing like that. I actually got teary-eyed, no matter what people tell me. It was just heart-breaking to see him cry like that!

Strange Minds and Bat in my Belfry are my favorite episodes but I felt that Strange Minds could have gone farther. I felt like it really wasn't chaotic enough in there and they should have made it more along the lines of the Cell which is what came to mind when I saw it. I think they should have had Jack as more of guide who ended up getting acid washed in the end. It could have given a more sympathetic edge to the character. Though the references to the Killing Joke was awesome. XD
I kinda felt that way about all of the episodes though.

Thank you <3 I have to agree. With Joker's mind, I expected there to be more chaos, something that would drive the viewer nuts. That would've been awesome, had they gone along those lines. I always felt a certain degree of pity for Joker, but then his insanity always came through and ruined the moment. XD Unfortunately I haven't been able to see that many Joker episodes, only the last three on the 2nd season and season 4.

I've seen a few mostly second season though Bat in the Belfry still has a big spot in my heart. I loved the characterization in that episode and how agile and animalistic they made him. I liked that he was often on all fours and used his feet as hands which is more than a good idea if his design isn't going to have shoes.
I should have said that I liked the Laughing Bat but to be honest, it let me down so hard in the last half from the first that I don't like watching the end. I thought they were literally going to have Bats go insane and that it would be a character study on the Joker. With the POV from the insane and now sometimes things are out of your control. I felt that the dying from laughter thing was alittle lame. But then I took the line, "I need a Joker" too seriously and thought that he was going to be the a Joker.
I had mixed feelings about the series, obviously.
