Here's my second entry for and 's element contest, here: [link] I've based this curvalicious lady on the element air.

16th century metaphysican Paracelsus gave names to the spirits of the four elements - fire, water, earth, and air. The spirits of the air, who were concerned mainly with the operation of winds and were invoked when the cooperation of the wind was required in some magical rite, were called sylphs, and that's what she is. I call her Paralda, after the leader of the sylphs, who, although often described in gender-neutral terms, is generally considered to be male. The name is so pretty, though, that I decided to use it anyway. I have an idea that she rides around in the air making sure the winds blow correctly on a fluffy cloud.

This is probably the most Mucha-esque piece I've ever done, both in composition and in the design of the dress. I quite like it! Hope you guys do too!

I wish I could go to a costume party in her outfit.
