Luna Lovegood and Rolf Scamander from Harry Potter.If you don't know who Rolf is and you don't mind spoilers, look up his name in google.
I tried to make Luna's clothes look "weird", that's why I made her wear a sunday hat plus a slicker. I wonder if it's strange enough for her?
About Rolf, I made up his character design. I wanted him to wear goggles, they're always cool.
Anyway, I hope you like it.

If I remember properly, I didn't use any texture on this pic, it was the effect created by the brush. It's some of the default brushes in Photoshop, but I can't remember which because I colored this long time ago and only used Photoshop for a short while (x_x)

I always pictured Rolf as being like a wizarding equivalent of Steve Irwin - completely mad, and full of such unbridled enthusiasm for whatever he did. I actually like that he married Luna, because in my mind, Stevo!Rolf would fit so well with her.

Because Rowling stated so, since she's the author...
She gave us some information about him: that he's a zoologist and that they have twin sons (Lorcan and Lysander), but nothing about his personality or his appearance was stated as far as I know.

No, they met after Luna left Hogwarts, if I remember properly. I never liked Neville for her, so I'm glad it didn't end like that ;;;

ahh ok the thing i liked about them was they where such outcasts who could of bonded so well in the years at hogwarts but thats the only non-canon pairing I approve of the others tend to be sick pedos incest slash

Hmm... I believe this is the first drawing of Rolf that I have ever seen here on DA. It's probably because I've never looked him up, but still it was a nice surprise to see him drawn in this picture. I thought it was Harry at first 
(I also just noticed that deviantart's abbreviation is DA. DA = Dumbledores's Army

I waited until I had reread the Harry Potter books and read (for the first time) Deathly Hallows, and I have to know... Who is Rolf Scamander? I can't remember him for the life of me.
As to the drawing, I really love it, Luna's slicker and sun hat were a nice touch.

Rolf Scamander never appeared in the series. He's the son of the man who (fictionally) wrote the book about beasts. The author says in the end Luna marries him and becomes a naturalist together.
