I had a hard time choosing which to make a fav. I chose this one really because of the little creature and the girls right eye (not sure). I've always had a soft spot for fairy tales, and your art brings me to that sort of place. I'm definatly going to keep an eye on you. Your faces are especially captivating.

Do you use brushes and nibs mostly, or pens as well. Your texture is so rich, it's hard to tell. What are the demensions you work in?

Thanx for your choise...
Yes, I use the brushes mostly...actually, I use 3 sizes of brushes commonly.
Sometimes I use the pen( or stylus) as you see in "Illustration2" for example...

"Dimensions from A5 to A2 in general.(in metrical)"
um... sorry but I don't know what that means...
I can do standard metric or inches, I just don't know that terminology.
Really no nibs? that's suprising...
But truly I don't care as long as you keep producing such beautiful work!!!

gorgeous, simply gorgeous...

NIBS? what the nibs...? i know just nibs is VIP in slang...
I'm working quite fast...a few hours maybe...4-6 as max.

Ah, I see. That's pretty big for ink. Nice.
Unless I'm confusing my terminology, nibs are the tips for ink well pens... calligraphy, that's the word I was looking for.

To me, this has a rather retro feel...The girl reminds me of those old dolls, for some reason. Lovely painting!

this is really rather beautiful. the style reminds me of an old children's book, or an illuminated manuscript. it has a style that demands attention and respect. it's very beautiful. the colors too are excellent. browns and yellows, the colors of grain and the fields. very beautiful.

Danaids [2004-06-10 14:15:14 +0000 UTC]

I've looked over all you artwork and I must say the style you use is half Shakespearian in flavor, medieval spirtualism and in certain cases doused with pagan themes of the days of Kings and Queens. It is really interesting work! I guess you can say it looks theatrical in a mythic way. I can definitely see some of these pieces hanging on castle walls or in a theatre or someone who appreciates mythic and theatrical art. Oh yeah the faces take on the stoic, calm look of the madonna at times that is so disconcerting yet someone how fit in the constext of your pieces. Wow!
