Description
1967; Son of Godzilla or Kaijū-tō no Kessen Gojira no Musuku is the eighth installment of Godzilla series.
This film's settings took place on Sogell/Solgell Island and many believe that it will be known as Monster Island in the future. This film is largely similar to Ebirah, Horror of the Deep..... it took place in a south pacific island, has a native girl amongst the cast, and has similar ending scene..... not surprising, since both were directed by Jun Fukuda
Minilla (ShodaiMinira) appeared for the first time and sadly will continue to appear in the next two films (Destroy all Monsters and All Monsters Attack) .... *sigh ..... the famous Kamacuras (from the word "Kamakiri" 蟷螂 which literally means mantis in Japanese) also being introduced for the first time
I'm not that enthusiastic to edit this one, firstly it used the worst Godzilla design of all time .... MusukoGoji ....... (the second worst is MegaroGoji) and secondly its featured Minilla, the worst Godzilla's son design of all time...... I prefer Baby Godzilla, Little Godzilla, or Godzilla Jr. as Godzilla's kid rather than the hideous ET-copy like him...... 
Minilla would surely find a better employment in the Lord of the Rings saga, be it as Gandalf's companion (because they both love to play with smoke) or as Gollum's brother...
However I love this spin-off idea by in his diorama, he portrays that Minilla was killed by the Kamacuras before Godzilla arrives....
The film itself is somewhat so-so since the setting is restricted on the Island, the storyline is bad (no one could ever stay alive from a radioactive-shower), Akihiko Hirata's acting is not that good (maybe its Jun Fukuda's fault) ......but it has considerable amount of kaiju battle since this film also introduced Kumonga (ShodaiKumo), a giant spider and Akira Kubo is a good comedian I guess

Well, you know I love your edits, and this one is no exception. I never thought you would do one from this diorama of mine, since I know you have no love for the goji design or most of the other characters. Maybe like me, you just wanted to see Minya kick the bucket again early, and not wait to freeze with daddy...
What I do appreciate most about this edit is the background and foliage which you managed to blend so well, you made my diorama look so much better than it really is. And you took my cheap toys and made them look much more alive! It also amazed me how you made my Kamacurus (actually a mantis I bashed to make a bit more like it should) look much more like a kamacurus and does not stand out as a lot different than the others, which shows a lot of skill. I also love that you added the tower spraying the radiation, it looks awesome....in all, the scene is so lush, green and pretty, I have quite fallen in love with it! It would have been fun to see the girl in it, lol she won't have anyone to feed now! I'm glad actually that you did the spin-off where Minilla is killed, that surely adds a lot of fun editing this one, and since its the only MusukoGoji film, I have no other choice than do the edit.
I personally think that it was a great choice adding Riko to the scene since she shown somewhat emotional attachment to the lil turd.... so I think it adds the dramatic feelings overall....

I love it! Looks so much better than my diorama before! I love the background you chose, it really sets it off! And I am glad you got Kumonga in there! I never built him, he just seems too much like a plain ol spider you know?
