Description Hey, remember my half-elf ranger who turned out to be a flesh-eating Ghoul but who regained a bit of a conscience and used a spell to look like his former self and tried so very hard to be a good "person" around the rest of the party?

lol, I haven't updated you on his condition in a while... So for those of you who DO remember him and care, here's a doozy!

One of his main goals was to BE ALIVE again, and after many, many (many) shenanigans, the opportunity presented itself in the form of a Wish ring. He had to phrase his wish carefully (Wen, careful? pffhahaha), AND LO AND BEHOLD—he managed to properly wish himself alive again!

He actually wished that he could be what he was "before", and the wish promptly dumped him back into his old army uniform from 300 years ago. Fortunately for the party, he didn't lose his memories from the time he died to the moment his wish was granted, although there's a definite disconnect and general weirdness about the way he processes and recalls things from during his undead period. (he also is rather traumatized, and steers WELL CLEAR of anything that reminds him of his old appetite for flesh).

SO YEAH. O_O Wen's alive and kicking (and breathing and sleeping and sweating and eating normal food and IT'S SO ODD TO BE DOING THESE THINGS AGAIN). He's also kinda boring. 9_9 But he got what he wanted...RIGHT???

ps I hate armor and I know it makes no sense shut up

Sounds kind of like something that happened in my L5R game. We ended up losing one of the party members...not because they died, but because he WON THE FREAKING GAME. It's said that you can't "win" L5R, but he did, and it was due to one of those wish situations. Then again, I guess it was a simple enough wish...since he was a monk and all he wanted was to obtain enlightenment...so he did  >_>

Oh wow~ xD Yeah, wishes are pretty awesome/game-winning/game-breaking like that.
And come to think of it, maybe Wendelin could have thought of wishing away the war that has been plaguing the campaign's world for the past few hundred years and all, which potentially would have ended the game....but NOPE BEING ALIVE IS MORE IMPORTANT. 8'D

Viktor: Find yourself a goal that makes you happy, takes your mind off whatever negativities you have or see. A life without something positive practically doesn't matter. With a goal, even if you have to find a new one again and again, the negative doesn't matter anymore.

...*shoves her elven mad scientist behind her* Viktor doesn't necessarily always give good advice. He's my latest DnD character-I'm noticing I really like playing elves. And semi-crazy people. But playing out their personalities and the way they change through all their stories and adventures is half the fun of playing the game. It's fun to see Wen going through some changes of his own, too.

Oh, and I am the lucky GM who has been running this campaign! Wen has been one of the most fun characters so far...

There are a few paths you can go down with him from here... Think about it on the way in?

Man, lucky Wendelin.

You could try to find him another goal to serve to make him interesting again?
