I have NO explanation for this background. It defies explanation.I was gonna have a Backdraft baby pile but I couldn’t find a reference for Glory . If one exists, lemme know. There’s the perfect spot for her behind Retrograde
I also don’t know if there is a colored picture of Slade . I know Jinx loves the color blue, so I assumed there was at least some blue on the kid. I gave him is mommy’s colors to stick on the safe side.
If there is a colored picture I don’t know about, lemme see that too! I probably won’t fix the colors on this once since I’m already finished but I could remember it for future pictures.
Poor Merlot
Okay, this seems like WAY too few kids for Backdraft. If there are any another kids out there, send me a reference picture so I can make another complete picture!

He's got a bunch of kids, but I didn't bother to create any of them.
Glory, Retro, Rotor and Shot are the only four with an actual design.
Also, to be fair to the actual storyline of my character/character's family, Slade was never created.

I had no idea what this picture was about until I read the comments.
There should be more BD/??? Sparklings out there but I can't quite remember who had resulting spawn.
It seems BD had a piece of just about everyone.
I actually giggle whenever I think about Backdraft/random OC spawn.
...Ever notice how most of them are mech offspring? (Even Sparklings in general)

I like it, especially their red glowing optics. The bubbles are really good, I like how they all have the same or simular light source. (I often find bubbles having contrasting light sources in pictures)

I like that the majority of sparklings around here are mechs! I used to look at the D-con list and wonder why there were so many more femmes than mechs.

Me too...the femmes in the club are so numerous. I thought they were supposed to be rare lol. (at least originally)

I know! I put a femme in 'cause I wanted to make a thing out of the fact Shockwave no likey likey femmes but they sort of exploded all over the place.

I thought Shockwave honestly didn't care about the 'gender' of his recruits, but the idea of the 'femme population explosion' certainly does make me giggle. I like femmes with a nice mix of toughness and still acting a little (a little) like a femme. Too many girly-girls are simply annoying. Especially if they are supposed to be a Decepticon.
Far out. I'd get annoyed by all the options. Do you ever find out new techniques by experimenting on different brushes?

See, I always figured that, after millions of years with the Elita-1's gang messing with him, Shockwave would be rather >[ about femmes.
There are a lot of things that make me feel ... almost squick about certain D-con characters.
For the most part, I know how I like to make comics in terms of process. However, I usually put whatever the brush effect is on a new layer and tweak it individually to get it to suit whatever I need.

You do have a point there. Femmes are almost always unpredictable and causing trouble for both teams involved, so I can understand why he would be iffy around them. I always assumed his apathy or refusal to be illogical would win out.
The one that gets me the most is the predictable insanity routine. At the same over-dramatic level that takes over the character instead of letting the insanity just be a part of character development. And the vampires. They're not scary if they strike up a sexy pose.
That sounds like it takes some time. I have nothing too advanced on my computer. Just a paint program and basic photshop. But it certainly sounds fun to play with.

Still I say that Glory should look like Ratchet since shes 3/4 Ratchet. But maybe with Backdraft's colors s- ...ok so Glory should be Hijak.
And Slade should look more drafty because everyone knows that Jinx has a giant boner for Backdraft, so she'd want her kid to look as much like Draft as possible. That way she can pretend when he gets older. you know what I mean.
I wuv it though, the background is bubbles cause Fluff is under Merlot and just got SMOOSHED.

Slade's design doesn't have arms or legs. I thought about having him be black and making the caution stripes blue but I had no idea if there were caution stripes.

Awh no not like that guy. He looks like a seeker x ratchet, not ratchet x ratchet's kid. I'd say just exactly like Hijak except with maybe a split chevron.
Just assume that he looks exactly like Origins Megatron except with more eyebrow and faggotry.
