Another drawing I started a long, long time ago after reading a book called the annotated Classic Fairy Tales. I don't know why I got sucked into that, maybe it was the sweet art or that it was because it was the first time I read the tale Bluebeard. Anyway I know the quality sucks tremendously probably because I had to scan it in sections. And yes thereβs another light source from above them, and I included all 6 mice, 6 lizards, 1 pumpkin, and 1 rat, although most of them were destroyed by the scanner or cut off at the bottom.Related content

all of those ideas sound really cool actually, I think you should just go with them. Maybe just keep playing with them until they feel "right". That's funny you happen to be working on a Venus fly trap as I just noticed an acquaintances little pot of them which reminded me I totally want to get some myself this past week. Nice little synchronicity there 
I've been slacking on painting lately myself too. Just don't seem to have motivation to finish them. I have the "vision" in my head just fine, just not motivation at this point. -shrugs- oh well, I guess that means when it does hit me I'll have a few pieces done at once.

I think this is amazing, sorry I only faved at first, I'm so behind with everything, so I don't always have time to comment, and I think I'm not a very good commentator, my comments are not so "professional"... O.o But I try my best... I really wish I could draw like this... I could stare it for hours.
But if I don't comment, you should know I like the picture if I faved it.
