Thanks! I love old and forgotten too! It is so amazing how here in the states people abandon and just leave a home and move on to the next. I have not seen as much of this as I crossed the pacific and moved to Australia.

No could not get up there in time. There will be more to come I'm sure. The trees are over loaded with nuts and all the shrubs are with berries. I think it might be a big winter, and a long one...

Seems to me that a lot of times people will just build next door and leave the prior house to the ruins... mountains of NC. I also noticed that we passed a zillion old barns and new ones were standing right next to the old broken down barns. I know lots of builders like to get the old barn wood to put into new homes to make them appear rustic!!!!

yea, I'm always kissing either the ground or the sky!!!!! The really neat thing was that the very next morning this image was covered with snow. Really out of the ordinary weather. I can't remember ever seeing leaves of colour in the middle of change, then the white stuff!!!! The world is truly in the middle of change! It was all gone by lunchtime when it warmed to the 50's... Strange , but true!
