I like how everything in the room has straight lines, except the chair and debris. I like spying the reflection of light from the windows caught in the shiny ceiling.

The lighting is always a factor. I loved the colours in the room despite everything was old and broken down. Thanks so much!

Simple . If fact simply brilliant . One of those opportunities that 99% of the time don't work - but the 1% makes it all worth while .

Thanks so much Richard. It was a simple little shack. I don't know the story, but I am sure it was occupied within the last few years. Sad because the area is in the middle of a paddock and the woods around it are beautiful. Your right, lots of times this sort of photo looks like what it actually is and is not of interest. Thanks for your kind comment.

Thanks so much. It was quite colourful considering. I was just on the lookout for snakes. Didn't want to find one and step on it...

And you went into it.... and it was empty....??
The homeless here in the US would have been living in there!

There's something about this which is appealing to me. The colours are marvellous and the composition is really well done. Love the way the lines in the floor and roof are balanced by the door in the corner.

Very nice work indeed there ma'am!

It is only missing a model huh???? Thanks for the kind words. I even wore real shoes for this tromp into the woods. Last time I had on my flip flops and just missed stepping on a Red Belly...Yikes. Kinda made me rethink the shoes...

No, not even needing a model I would have said, I like it as is. I think a model would have taken away some of the feeling this has.

Nearly stepped on a...talk about almost putting your foot in it!

Colour was really the only thing going for this place. Ian's house really turned out well with a lot of muscle, money and imagination...

Quite the colorful place. It does let one imagine what the place was like back when folks laughed and played there.

It was a very small place, but did have electricity and heat. It was located way out in the country. Probably a farm worker lived there till he was too old to take care of himself??? The place will collapse soon. I'm sure there were happy times within the walls... how are you and Corky holding up???

We're doing ok in our rearranged house. A friend of mine just got thrown out of his by his wife. It does make one appreciate the simple blessings.
