Saw the crystal guards in the latest MLP:EqG trailer. I liked their look and I always been kinda a sucker for the guard ponies, so I had to draw one. With sketchy background.^^'''''Also I think this is the first time I draw a crystal pony.
So I know whatI won't do next, when I draw a crystal pony:
1. No fuzz (even if fuzz became somewhat my trademark, it's just doesn't look good on crystal ponies)
2. Different shading on the mane and tail (same like fuzz, this type doesn't siut for a crystal pony)

Annalise [Surname Removed] :She got this email. Rubbish she thought. She deleted it. And now, Annalise dead.
CASE TWO -
Louise [Surname Removed]: She sent this to only 4 people and when she woke up in the morning her wrists had deep lacerations on each. Luckily there was no pain felt, though she is scarred for life.
CASE THREE -
Thomas [Surname Removed]: He sent this to 5 people. Big mistake. The night Thomas was lying in his bed watching T.V. The clock shows '12:01am'. The T.V misteriously flickered off and Thomas's bedroom lamp flashed on and off several times. It went pitch black, Thomas looked to the left of him and there she was, Bloody Mary standing in white rags. Blood everywhere with a knife in her hand then disappeared. The biggest fright of Thomas's life.
Warning... NEVER look in a mirror and repeat -'Bloody Mary.Bloody Mary.' Bloody Mary... I KILLED YOUR SON' Is it the end for you tonight! YOU ARE NOW CURSED

I like the fuzz, makes it seem like even though they're crystalized they're still soft and cuddly. <3 Beautiful work.

I like the design, very accurate to what a guard would look like from the Crystal Empire but I can't help but feel like the other guard would make fun of them. Like, there's a guard convention and all the rulers are basically having a competition over whose guards are the coolest, and Crystal guards are made fun of because they're so frail -being made of crystal- but when it comes to the beauty portion of it they walk on stage with all the lights off and shine spotlights on em like this big laser show and dance in a big musical number.

Actually I think he looks very nice. The spares amount of fuzz tells me he's different from other ponies besides being a Crystal Pony. Maybe the fur is more coarse and thin? IDK I still like it though. If you do take away the fuzz, maybe keep the ear fuzz? Just a thought.
