*dies*I have never spent so long on a picture. In all I probably spent a little over twelve hours on the whole thing, excluding the times when I took it out and fiddled with neatening it up over the course of the past week or so.
It makes me sad that you can't clearly see all of the detail I put into everything. My scanner failed and didn't catch everything.
I guess it's good though, 'cause most of them were patterns that I couldn't draw accurately because I don't have a pencil that will make uber fine lines.
Even with all the little imperfections, I'm extremely pleased with this picture. I'm glad because I needed something like this. I've been in a horrible drawing block for forever. Nothing's turned out good.
Despite the block, I just felt inspired once I saw all the AC2 teasers, and found the picture in the link above.
I had a blast drawing this, even though it took me such a long time.
I expect to do some more pictures of Ezio here soon if I can find the time. This one was such a blast, I have to try some other poses now.

Thanks. It took me almost constant practice to be able to get to the level I'm at now. I still have a lot of places where I could seriously use some improvement though.

As you said, it's a shame we can't see all of them. I can only see the faint outline of the designs on his legs(or hanging over them, w/e)
I'm trying to draw him in this pose, and I must say, I'm failing at the designs. I have the outline and overall of him, but I can't get the little designs .. or his hands. Don't suppose you could give any helpful suggestions, could you?

I just wish I had spent more time on them now and made sure that they would show up on the scanner.

I like your work a lot. I'd give a bit of advice that's on the tip of my tongue, some same advice that was given me just before I drew this picture of Ezio, but unfortunately it's late now, and I can't think for the life of me how to word it. xD

I know how you feel, when I scanned my Ezio drawing it came out a lot less sharp than the original so the post isn't nearly as good
