This is a very clever idea, I like it a lot. However, the execution isn't quite right. It lacks some clarity and definition, and the tops of the trees are cut off. Try looking at the photo fresh, and you'll see that the red on blue draws the eye up to the top of the tree, but you can't actually see the top of the tree. You just get border.
