Sugi art of one of my newer fakemon, Promi. Made with Paint Tool SAI.He is based on Prometheus and is the Mew-analogue mascot legendary in a region based on Greek Mythology. He's got a whole lot of backstory.
Pure-fire type and a bit of a trickster archetype, his abilities include shapeshifting and manipulation. He is the reason that the people in the Aegean region both revere and fear fire-types. If you pick the fire starter you are automatically aligned under him (they tell you it's Zeus because the starter's final stage is part-flying, but they're not fooling anyone). People are grateful to him for bringing them fire but try not to mention it for fear of angering the god-legendaries, who are a very real presence in peoples' lives.

Yeah! I'm taking a Mythology class with a teacher who really knows her stuff (although the class itself is... fairly boring, but there's no escaping that) and it's very inspirational! I haven't been doing much planning for it lately, although I should probably lay down the groundwork somewhere in case I wanted to come back to it sometime. You know.

yeah, probs not, idk. haven't really done too much work on it recently, I got the designs down for the starters and the hermes line and I recycled my ophiuchus legendary into an Asclepius mon (or maybe I'll have that evolve INTO the ophiuchus/caduceus legend, hmmm) and I have a couple other designs lying around too, like Demeter who was also inspired by Virgo and Kanaya, but I don't know, I need to rehash some of them. I'm also stumped on the legendary trio's designs (Zeus, who is electric/flying; Poseidon, water/ice; Hades, ghost/poison). MAN.
The chances of my spriting ANY of these guys are slim, but who knows what could happen. (I do kind of like the starters-- they're based on hercules, odysseus, and perseus.)
