Coventry became a synonym for wartime destruction of architectural heritage in Britain, and it's evident why if you visit the city. Still, some pieces of old Coventry here and there managed to survive the war - the problem is that they're tucked away from the lively streets and so many visitors undoubtedly miss them. Such is the case with the Old Blue Coat School. This handsome building overlooks the ruins of St. Mary's Priory, which sadly wasn't quite so lucky.
