Like many buildings in Chester, this ancient church stands on the Roman ruins. First founded in the Dark Ages, it has naturally undergone many restorations, but a lot of architectural elements remain from the Saxon times, such as its unique square shape. It is considered a Guildchurch, which means that every year the guilds of Chester hold a banquet there.Related content
