I LOVE HOUSE MUSICand i love random coloured objects in a black and white image
did this as a tribute to all those nights of partying and clubbing and having fun with friends and dancing to juicy house beats and dirty electro rhythms!!!
this is my first portrait ever done in photoshop, took a photo of a random girl from the internet as reference, altogether it took me about 4 hrs or so

u know, it's crazy- if i suddenly get flow, and i start drawing, its always the 1st dats da best, and that last that's the worst- that happen to you?

hmm not really I rarely nail my drawings at the first try. I put down a sketch, it sucks so I change and tweak it until it looks anywhere near what I had in mind.

oh, that reminds me of the time i tried drawing my dream- maaannn that was hard, coz the dream was so... 3D, u get wat im saying? ...and... but still, i like the end result.

First of all thanks for your kind words
As for the shading I usually prefer to apply very dark tones first and then add the highlights rather than starting off from a more neutral tone but I think that's a matter of preference really... And apart from that I don't really have a technique. I just keep rendering and tweaking until it looks right. I'm not very good at explaining stuff like this...

how do u highlight??
and do u use anything to blend ur shading? i jus use my finger which ends up lookin v dirty do u have any ideas of someother way i could blend my shading??
