Description
Captain Mar-Vell of Marvel comics...I bought the encyclopedia of Marvel Comics the other Day and i remembered one of my favorite heroes as a child..
so i thought re-create him...
i can't believe that in a 1200 superheroes encyclopedia they forgot to put ROM inside!!!
do you remember ROM?

ROM's technically owned by a toy company.
Marvel can't use that character or his name anymore in comics. Marvel doesn't own the character name or likeness.
Oddly enough, I think the ROM comic lasted longer than the toyline did!

Marvel released a mini series some years ago called SpaceKights. It was about his sons and the next gen of Knights. But because Marvel couldn't use the name ROM he was called Aurtur or something and was killed off in the first issue. You never got to see him and in flashbacks he was pictured as white bodied with red glowing eyes being. It was a good series. I miss alot of 70's and 80's characters.

they had an argument with DC about the name...and Marvel lost if i can recall...
they changed it from Marvel to Mar-vell !

I agree on the fast resurrection thingy ... I don't know, for example, how many times I saw Xavier get in and out of that chair in the last years too.
I just think they should ponder better before killing of a character and resurrect him later.
Sooner or later they will run out of resurrection tokens!

as usual you make an amazing artwork isi. Captain Marvel was one of my all time favorite hero from marvel. I can't remember the story arc of his fight against the supreme intelligence.

Beautiful piece of work. But there's one question that's been bugging me about this.
What the heck happened to his private parts since they aren't even bulging?
I mean sure with that angle one could argue that he has a bulge, but in that case, ain't it kinda deform and small for someone as Mar-vellous as he?
