Quick question.
I'm doing a series of movie posters for a movie I'm writing. It's strictly for self motivational purposes. It helps me visualize the final product and keeps me focused on writing.
Anyway, I wanted to ask your permission to use this photo for one of the posters. The rest of them are on my DA account if you're interested in seeing what I've done so far.
If you're not into it, it's totally cool and I understand. I just wanted to ask.

Ugh, I had a horrible dream with that exact image in it once. Scared the shit out of me.

Wow, scary. The eyes and mouth look very dark, almost post-mortem. And the upside down view is the perfect touch.
A blue filter would have increased the tension in this photo, but it's a great piece as it is!

hon, this is awesome work... i honestly can say i wish i had taken it...now that's rare
it's got the dark side, your horrified expression and cold tones. the colors of death. it's simply sweet.
i probably sound like a death-fetishist or something cos i tend to drool on stuff like this, but i guess it's that i just find the subject fascinating in _art_. death is not a nice thing, but it is very little handled in photography. especially using the things genarally thought aesthetic, and composition and so. oh well, i just wanted to say i really like this work and i gotta fav it and you are now in my watch too... *waiting for more great portraits from you*

Getting a whole Laura Palmer/David Lynch/Twin Peaks vibe off this photograph. Your expression is so symertrical it's surreal. Nice job with the lighting too, it's not easy to light plastic.

ah if you had used a diffuser, your colors woudl have been smothered to induce a suffocation sort of look. maybe a blue filter too.

Okay, fuck it all, I didn't see this before I made the other one my fav. I guess I"ll just have to add this too, I like it worlds more. I had a fleeting thought of Tori Amos's "Spark" video when I looked at the other one, but this one, the expression on your face kind of reminds me of her, right down to the way your teeth are showing like hers would. Fantastic work.

I like some aspects of the shot, but I'm definately not addicted to
such morbid things... And there's this yellow light reflects, I don't know
if it's intended but I think it doesn't fit well with the right bright white light
(such "ight", am I writing down poetry ? oh well, forget it )
The depth of field is, as always, quite nice. Added to the angle, it gives
me the feeling that this head has been cut off and lies in some curious
place.
(and god, you really are frightening...)

I like the idea, the colours, the lipstick and make up - as if saying women are captured because "somehow" they are "covered".
They obscure, shield, put on, superimpose, veil themselves with this make-up symbolised by the plastic.
Still though I feel a awkward in commenting this. It's a funny feeling that I get inside when I look at it....

i can't say that i love it.. this makes me feel claustrophobic somehow.. there is some emptiness in your eyes and your face seems, i dont know.. like gone?.. this is a moving piece but i can't say that i've enjoyed it.. it makes me nervous.
