Description ah, the small town, the sleepy small town,
a place to love and hate, you know,
people dream one day to leave it,
but it will never let them go.

Beautiful pic.
Can i ask if u dont mind, Is this a manipulation of 2-3 images?
Just curious.

thank you. No it's a straight photo. My photoshop abilities have improved quite a lot since I took this one so perhaps it looks like a manipulation when really it isn't.

as she looked that the picture one word came to mind.. "radical"---- seems like you're always on the lookout for the opportunity to snap a photo and that's great i think you're helping people enjoy the things in life that can't be bought or forced to happen.
keep on snapping~

This is a very nice photo. Would you mind if I ask what's the technique for achieving the result?

I did this quite some time ago so I can't remember exactly but I think I would have used curves in photoshop to bring down the sky and used a colour adjustment on the sky to make it greener. Hope that helps a bit

Thanks for the tips.

I myself have used quite a bit of Tone Curve when editing landscape photos in Lightroom. I'm still learning how to take good landscape photos (plus editing).

Have a good day!

Oh my wowness! That's amazing. The quality of the light, the yellowness of it, and the softness of it (Rather than in distinct rays) is like an old, faithful, overstuffed chair, that you can settle into and just curl up with a book for hours. I love the hills behind, dappled with sunlight.

Although I would expect the truck in the foreground to ruin the atmosphere, somehow it manages to add a tone of reality to the picture; this picture is less magical and more here-and-now, without losing any of it's atmosphere. It's the kind of picture I want to walk into, just to watch the small-town life for a while, to see what the locals think of such a beautiful sight.

I kep the truck in for that very reason of giving the impression of life going on in the small community

It was a good choice - MY lens probably would have just tilted up a liiiiiiiiittle more.
