Description
I made a mesmer character in Guild Wars 2 and - while it's been a bit challenging to learn to play as one - I must say I quite enjoy the playstyle. With all the clones, decoys, illusionary warlocks and phantasm duelists running around even I have sometimes trouble determining which one is my character and what is she doing exactly...

I have no idea - I find it hard to categorize the type of fantasy GW2 represents anyway, as there are some sci fi/steampunk elements mixed with the standard sword & sorcery. Engineer class in particular seems to specialize in firearms, but they show up occasionally with other classes as well.

I literally have to keep myself from playing my mesmer ALL the time. It is a slippery slope and I tread lightly, only bringing her out when I'm frustrated over something(gods they are so much fun to play)

Lol, I recently made a mesmer as well. I've got staff as my range weapon and sword/pistol for my melee. Yours seems similiar

it's neat when you can clone yourself, just wish you had a glowing arrow pointing to your character at all times :3

Mesmers are awesome, aren't they? (I play a mesmer as my main character and this made me grin, a lot!) Definitely a challenging character but a lot of fun--especially when you're in PvP and you're watching players on the other team use their most powerful skills one of your clones

Is that supposed to be a flintlock pistol? Because from where I see it, it looks a lot like a long-barreled Desert Eagle.

Yeah, but they do have some war machines and weapons like pistols, rifles and turrets - kind of steampunk-ish stuff, mostly. Engineer is one playable class that can make use of them.

Yeah, I haven't really had time to play it that much until recently - the eternal dilemma of too many good games, too little spare time...
I will most likely create a Norn at some point. Maybe a Charr, too...

My main character is a human mesmer and i must say the most dificult part is deciding betwen phantasm and Illusions, i personally use a greatsword-scepte/Torch combination
