Description
This is an older piece (started July 2007) that I worked really REALLY hard on, and ended up finishing after... err.. 4 months? :BUncolored because it's a pain. ;A;
An illustration for my beloved (CLICHE) original story. Divulging all the details of the plot is too complicated (not in a good way, since it's really sloppy), but you may or may not recognize the eyeless one and the girl from this deviation . 8DD
Errmmm.. The anatomy is off in many, many places. Everything is "symbolism" that I tried to incorporate. xDD maybe you can guess what the story is about? o3o

omgomgomgomgomg OKAY
so first off let me tell you that this is AMAZING. The fading in and out of images and shading and the flow of this piece is BRILLIANT.
One of my favorite things here is the eyes. They each have such emotion in them. (the one in the middle is wonderfully eerie) I love how the boy is looking confused at the book. It makes it seem like the people in the background are all from a story he's trying to figure out. But it's like they're there with him and he's trying to figure out what they're all like and what part they play.
The daffodils you drew are simply AMAZING. They make the man above them seem to have a nicer side. (by my interpretation) seems like it goes from a nice side to a darker side (when you see the city scape) like the person in the foreground is haunted by something or ... i want to say tortured but not that severe of a word. And then with the girl and the petals coming apart and dispersing seems like sanity crumbles. and with the eye in the center it seems like it's the central cause of all of this.
lawl i prolly got a lot wrong but i adore this picture and i'm so sorry it took so long for me to comment.

It makes it seem like the people in the background are all from a story he's trying to figure out. But it's like they're there with him and he's trying to figure out what they're all like and what part they play.

There's a lot I want to say about this piece, but I'm sure half will escape me before I finish this sentence. I looked at this a while ago, but I didn't know what to say. I'm feeling oddly commentful atm so here I go.
Even though this doesn't mean much to me, I really like it, and I want to know much more. I did recognize the girl from the earlier dev (cuz I'm that awsome) and was very proud I was right <3.
The guy at the bottom, is the one who stands out most because he's just reading a book, and thats it. Everyone else seems to have something going on behind the scenes. I could be completely mistaken, and that's fine... as long as I someday understand it all . ^^
I love the way you combine your hard (pen?) lines with softer (pencil?) lines, making the defining different in this drawing. Very very very wonderful.

The boy at the bottom.. his overall stance and gaze kind of throw off the idea I had for him in the first place. The entire scape behind him is supposed to "emerge" from the book, so to speak, and he's engrossed in it? I don't know, but anatomically he seems stiff, you know? But still, I'm really glad you interpreted it that way.

I'm really fond of how you drew the girl and the guy sitting down with his face on his chin.
The other two however, not so much. The guy with the one eye pretty much sums up why, lul. And his single eye looks kind of... really odd to me. Probably the lashes.
And then the other guy... I dunno. His hair?
BUT. I LOVE THE GIRL. She's gorgeous, the way you drew her. I love her hair and her expression and everything.
