Story:

"Yeah i'm gonna come along, you'd get lost without me..." Declares Claudia with a big grin on her face as she takes her suitcase from uder the bed. Without even skipping a beat, Eliah who was preparing his dressage routine for the Third Annual Harvest Festival he had been planning on entering for months, throws back "you just want to go travelling at AAO's expenses" with an even bigger grin. "You know I'm not like that!" She repplied back in a somewhat deffessive tone, indicating that Eliah was indeed right.

Eliah had been debating for a while wich horse he'd want to bring, he had been asked by his mother and Irene to start showing off the younger horses to make then used to crowds and travelling. For these reasons he thought La Noche en Vela would be the perfect fit, after all this was no small trip, they were going to the US no less! and Vela had already been in a plane prior to this, to attend a horse exposition in France. Overall this would be less stressful for her. Not to forget that she was a smart and talented mare totally capable of entering such an event.

They would arrive at Mulberry Breeze Stables a couple of days early to make sure they could all adapt to the jet lag and the new place- and maybe just be tourists around the place for a bit- Kristine and Kate were very welcoming from the start, Claudia and Eliah already knew them since they owned many Albuferas they had raised and seen grow and even some foals from their own Albus! So of course there were gonna tour the place and pay a visit to those horses, and as expected they were all happy and healthy and generally unimpressed to see their two old friends there.

Halter was the first class Eliah was entering with Vela. Erin wanted his albus to be entered in Halter as much as posible, after all their profile and unique colors were such a recognisable stapple of the breed, it would make sense to show them off this way. Vela was particularly beautiful, with a dark and depp coat pared with a bald face a beautiful shining brown eyes, she definitely had a few people staring at her! Thing is, she was also quite caracterial... and quite nosey! As it came Eliah's and Vela's turn to enter the arena, Vela was way more interested in the many humans and horses around her, so as she was trotting next to her handler, she would randomly stop dead in her tracks to look around, smell the air and listen to the many noises, conversations and overall animal calls she was hearing. And Eliah, who was concentrated on his job would just randomly be pulled back by Vela's stopping in the middle of the arena. He wasn't totally pleased by the behavior but also he couldn't immediately realise that Vela looking with he head high, her ears forward, looking at the people really made her look regal, it showed her personality and most people certainly seemed charmed and amused by her. Claudia for sure was amused, as she filmed the scene to send it to the rest of AAO's staff hoping to have a big laugh with them once they'd be back.
