Yay, some background art C:It's based/supposed to be the level Ice Cavern from the first game, just a bit different looking o3o It's not based on any particular area in that level, so Spyro just found a new area or something ~

This would be good for a movie of Spyro1 if it has a lot of the same places from the game. This looks cinematic and less like platforming.

What really takes the cake is the violet lighting coming from below the shown area. It really adds to the mystery behind the concept of this area: What kind of magic lies in the crater of the ice cavern?
Just a really amazing piece of art and fully conveys a story on its own.

Ice cavern and dark hollow have always been my favorite levels. you really captured the feeling of this level, with the danger of falling into a never ending pit.

Nice colours) I know snowy night is difficult to paint because you should think about each shadow, each plan, and make everything colourfull, not just blue-black.

This is absolutely amazing and, as previous comments have said, looks like it came straight out of an animated movie. Most of all, I just love how subtle the lighting is. You can tell that there's some light coming out of the cavern, but it's not so strong of a light source that it drowns out the rest of the picture and gets rid of that rich moonlit feel. Same with Sparx. It's just so delicious to look at and reminds me exactly of the level (and also of the Spyro 2 level Crystal Glacier, which used a color palette similar to this). I love it when the Classic Spyro games get artwork of this quality.
