Description Charcoal on paper, 8" x 10", 2000.

Another early portrait, though I originally did this as a batik (I wonder where *that* ended up...) What can I say, I love strong lights and darks in a portrait. This composition would actually be a lot of fun to revisit in watercolors... or inks... or another batik... or just about anything!
