The first thing that struck me about this picture is Rei's face. She doesn't have the soft, pensive stare or the non expression she usually has. She has this displeased/rough sort of expression, like she's on to you or something. Really interesting since she's in a maid outfit, where one would normally be cheerful or smiling, so this is definitely a worthwhile piece because you went and broke the mold of maid outfit pictures. Also you made her hair a bit longer, and it looks really good *___*, and with her facial expression she looks almost strong willed, or at least she has some strong convictions. And you've been drawing Rei's eyes a certain way lately, they're more curved, a little narrowed, and like I've said before it makes her look a bit sensual. Nice touch, especially for being in the maid outfit, lol.

Now when I just scrolled up her face looked sort of peaceful too...I think because of the great highlight detail you put into her hair she looks softer, calmer. On top of that you drew her with her head to the side and her fingers together, which suggests a hint of vulnerability. There are a lot of layers to this picture. O_____O

With so much blue in the picture it would be hard to pick a backround, but I think you did the right thing by making a bluish-grayish one, which of course goes extremely well with blue. Great choice. Really makes the picture very calm...like the days before fall starts and the weather begins to get colder...

Nice job on this one and great to see you back, even for a little while!
