This actually inspired me to do a writing prompt on the big guy! Took a wildly different direction from the original mythology, granted, but thank you for getting me to write again after over a year of inactivity!

There comes Fenris' twin
His jaws are open wide
The serpent rises from the waves
Jormungandr twists and turns
Mighty in his wrath
The eyes are full of primal hate

Wait, why is modern transportation interacting with Norse mythology?
Kind of ruins the theme ;-;

Isn't that the point? Its the Ragnarok occurring in current times, bit of a contrast.

I mean, the original tale took place in the period it was made probably, but this is a new interpretation, its like...the Bible had the revelations story which was about the end times, and that probably took place thousands of years ago, but I still found pictures of versions of it taking place in a more modern eraΒ

.....considering people discovered that the Earth is not made of three discs and there's no abnormally giant tree in the centre

First I wanted to say "nope, just a fish trawler" until I realized that that up there looks a damn lot like a sub.
Poor crew!
Another fantastic work, will there be more from that series?
Though, more would probably only be the fire demon that burn everything...
