Yeah, thanks man! It was an assignment during my final year at the Kubert School, to do a take on the crucifixion.

Welcome, man. How is it like working at that school?

It's crazy. Totally insane. It feels like 10 years of knowledge and work crammed into 3. I mean you go to school for 7 hours come home and you have at least 8 more hours of work each night in order to keep up with the work load. Needless to say, all-nighters were the norm, and I mean multiple ones a week. But it was a great experience, and totally worth it for me. And being taught by Adam, Andy and Joe didn't suck either.

That's exactly what I want. XD I might go to this school, but maybe a year later. That school must be worth every penny.

Yeah don't rush into it, I didn't go until I was out of HS for 5 years, and I knew I had to go or I wasn't going to make time to draw enough on my own. But now it's hard to go a day without drawing. I think it sounds like you'd dig it.

I definitely dig it. In fact, that's exactly what I'm doing. Haha. I want to take more time at home to draw on my own, and learn from the masters in the "how to" books.

Don't forget some Anatomy books!

Yeah! That's what I'm talkin' about! I'm learning from Jack Hamm's Drawing the Head and Figure. I have a bunch of other "how to" books, but my favorite ones are the Burne Hogarth books.

Jack Hamm is really good, but yeah Hogarth's books are probably some of the best out there. Another good one is George B. Bridgman, and his books are cheap, less than ten bucks a pop.

"a pop"? Now that's stuck in the behind of my head. I looked at George B. Bridgman, and read the comments about it below, and they all said it was a great book. I'm going to check that out. Thanks!

Yes. I remember when I was younger, only 10 at the time, I would get, like, 5 different "how to draw" books each year. It was a lot of fun for me since then. "How to Draw The Marvel Way" really influenced my addiction.

Yeah, The Joe Kubert's Wonderful World of Comics, is one of the better ones out there too. They give you a copy in your first year art supplies kit at the school, I had one before that so now I have two!

Man, don't wanna sound like a kiss ass or anything, but your artwork is amongst the best I've seen on dA. Your Batman stuff is incredible!

Hey thanks, that means a lot! You're being WAY too kind! In the next couple of weeks I'll have a lot more stuff to put up on here. Hopefully another Batman piece too, he's one of my favorite comic characters to draw.

Whoa.

I just looked through all the ones you had up. They're so dark and morbid.

By the way, they're freaking amazing. Expect a flurry of 's and perhaps another raid of your gallery (maybe even a ). You're good.

I'll have the rest of the pages up in the next few days. And then when my schedule gets a little more open I'm going to ink the hell out of them.
