Description This is a photo of an Amur Tiger from our day trip to the Columbus Zoo. It was laying around for about 10 minutes before jumping up on the rock and posing for me, which makes me think it really wanted its picture taken

Haha he does seem to be looking straight at you. I always love seeing photos where the animal seems to be making a connection with the camera. It's an amazing photo

Thanks! When they're looking at the camera, it gives the animals a personality. There was a gorilla that same day. He saw me point the camera and literally starting posing. He knew EXACTLY what was going on!

He wanted you to tell him which was his best side I took a picture a few years ago at the zoo of one of the meerkats where it was looking straight at me. It was just running around, stopped next to me right behind the glass, sat down and looked up at me like a little puppy begging for a home haha. There was a lot of glare in it though. I went in and edited some out, but you can tell I messed with it. I won't post it on here because of that, but you can see it here on my facebook if you like [link]

Lol! It matches your story perfectly. They know, they have to! Poor guy, I hope you let him down easily at least

It kind resembles a Chihuahua, so he might have fit in at my house haha. I'm in the process of try to sort and update my Facebook albums by deleting some of the photos I'm not crazy about anymore. That one I will definietly be keeping

Just watching him jump from the ground to the rock (the one he is laying on in the picture), was so graceful, and I imagined it not making a sound.

Perfect predator. I love admiring, but I wouldn't want to meet one out in the wild. ^_^

They truly are. It's insane how good they are, and how much they've evolved into being that perfect predator. Thankfully there aren't any in the U.S. (unless someone lets all of their animals free in Ohio again!).

Oh man, don't remind me...I live in Ohio. People here always complain the world portrays them, as idiots...I say: 'So STOP PROVING THEM RIGHT!!!' Makes all of us look bad. >_<

Watch the movies Two Brothers. It's about two tiger cubs. You'll love it.
