Description
This is a photo of an Amur Tiger at the Pittsburgh Zoo. I had to chance to watch the tigers act as naturally as they would in a zoo, being the only person there for the majority of the 30 minutes at the exhibit.Most of the time, I was waiting for the light and tigers to co-operate, and for one of the tigers to lay down on a perch nearest me.
It's hard to believe that these were the same tiger cubs from last year, they've gotten so big.

I can't believe how big they have gotten either. I didn't get the chance to see them until they were about 6 months old, but they were still rather tiny at the time. This is a stunning photo! The ammount of detail you see in the fur is insane. The fact the background is out of focus only makes the clarity stand out that much more.

Thank you, I wish the sun was a little lower in the sky to get rid of the shadow over his eyes. Oh well! I love when they pose for you. It's weird how fast they grow to full size.

Amazing how genle she can be despite those teeth. That's why I never thouht that white tiger was truly trying to kill Roy Horn. Had he wanted to...that man would dead for certain. ^_^
