This is quite nice I like the color palette, and how you have reflective light on the skin and fabric and the likes. It's a nice detail that integrates the background and the figure together. I like the circuit board like pattern in the background particularly the vibrant color of the light parts of the pattern. I think this image could benefit form facial references when you add the shadows (not saying to copy a face) but rather to get a good idea of where the lights and darks are. It would really make him pop more from the background. Either that or you could try and work with very heavy inking which could add a very nice serious feel to the image. That all said you did a good job at making the face look like it's a specific person rather than a generic pretty person design and you put a very beautiful effort into the patterning of the cameo that really pays off I feel. I hope that I was a little helpful and I hope you make many more nice works of art. ^^

Ah plastic then I would suggest some really sharp crisp higlights mixed in with soft Higlights, it may make him look more shiny or plastic like. ^^
