Build: Valvatorez has a thick, muscular build and would be considered quite burly and tall amoung Silverthornes. He is dwarfed by some larger Blackwoods but is a very functional mix of muscle and fleetness, at least in his own mind.
Rack: Valvortez's rack is in two parts. He has two horns which twine upward and twist in the middle to form points. He also has a set of ram-like curled horns which partially encircle his face. The rack is black in color and very smooth in texture.

Mane: Val has a thin line of bright blonde mane that runs from just behind his horns all the way to the base of his tail. He also has a thick blond chin scruff and a chest of thick golden hair that runs down his throat and all the way down to the end of his barrel -- almost halfway down the length of him. Valvatorez can be quite fustidious about keeping all this hair clean and neat.

Coat: Val has a very short, glossy coat. It combines a variety of ruddy reds, mottled reds and bright golds that make up a skeletal pattern over his face, ribs and legs.

One could easily make the mistake of calling Valvatorez mean, as he can come across as a very cold and dispassionate stag. In social situations he is evasive and silent, becoming more uncomfortable the more amiable others are with him. When he does interact with others he can be blunt, even abrasive. But what he lacks in communication skills, he makes up in a blatant tendency towards physical violence. While Val does not tend to express this towards other fawns (in fact he loathes physical contact) but when it comes to deal with predators his delight is as tangible as it is disconcerting. One of the few things he does focus his energy on and find pleasure in is the ruthless murder and dismemberment of predators. By flame. By hoof. His rare smiles usually illuminated by a flaming carcass.

A valuable ally, if a slightly difficult one to tolerate.

R E L A T I O N S H I P S|
Lucien - Lucien is Val's best friend and lover. It took him a while to finally accept his attraction to Lucien, and even longer to open up to Luci as a "partner". Now, the two are living together, working together, and nearly inseparable from his polar opposite. Lucien is the only one who can touch Val with impunity and who is able to get into the stag's inner sanctum of feelings. Lucien has found that beneath the shell he is playing with FIRE.

H I S T O R Y|
Valvatorez had a fairly typical youth with very supportive parents who (despite his dark coat) always hoped their son would lead a magically gifted and happy life. Their little Valvatorez grew up dedicated to growing his physical prowess and magic in all the ways that they had hoped, but hapiness was a far more distance shore. The young colt had a great deal of trouble forming meaningful relationships with...anyone. His peers. His elders. Wildlife. He was reserved and stiff in his relations with everything, keeping everyone at rack's length. On top of lacking all sense of community, Valvatorez's desire to protect the herd from lions was not going to get off the ground. His coat was an issue when it came to the Silverthorne's big cats.

So Valvatorez left. Unceremoniously and with very little said to his family, the stag decided to leave Silverthorne and find a new place to belong. His travelling took him a tremendous distance, but while passing through the Blackwood he found something of a calling for himself. He was convinced to participate in the Trial of the Mother, and when he took the life of his first bear he found the place where his happiness may be hiding. A knack for burning wolves and bears and even...a friend.
