Here's another Lost character portrait. I've been wanting to draw Locke for a while now because not only is he a really interesting character, but his facial features are just a lot of fun. His bald head and wrinkly eyes are just asking to be drawn. Also on my "I want to draw list" of Lost characters (in no particular order) are Desmond, Hurley, Rousseau, Juliet, and Sayid. As before, I drew this with brown and white pencil on brown toned paper and then did all of the coloring in photoshop with my tablet.You can see more of my Lost pictures in this section of my gallery .

I love the subtile color on the brown-toned paper. The darks and lights of the drawing really make it pop off the page.

is it a coincedence that Roussou and Locke are also philosophes or did you purposely do that? Amazing picture by the way

The writers used those names on purpose when creating the characters, because much of what they talk about reflects on the work of those philosophers.

I love locke because they took a lot of influence for him from Ender's Game for the character and the name also<3

Locke has always been one of my favorites. I really love the coloring and details of his face. It makes me want to squint too, like I'm right in front of him on the beach.

I'd love to see a Juliet by you! She's my favorite, and she needs more art lovin's. So does Rousseau. Maybe as a memorial.

I'm still bummed that they killed of Rousseau. Her character had a lot of potential, and her mysterious background was never fully explained to my satisfaction. I am planning to draw Juliet at some point, mainly because I think she has amazing eyes and she'd be fun to draw.
