Finally, my first [posted] Dragon Age fan art! Fear my cartoony/doodley style with uneven panels!!Okay, so the treasure chest one isn't so bad, but the nug one and the book one made me laugh while I was playing XD
The first two occurrences happened during my first playthrough (Fem!Mahariel) and I drew those panels way back then, but the last one happened during my second playthrough (Fem!Brosca) but when I drew it a few weeks ago, I just kept it as Fem!Mahariel to keep it consistent... XD
I wanted to add my Fem!Mahariel's forehead tattoos with the colors, but alas, with my laptop currently unavailable at the moment... Yeah. lol.
During another playthrough, I think as Fem!Tabris, the book level up happened to Oghren. The same book, too, I think. I tell you, that thing's a trap!
PS: No weapon references because I fail

I remember that happened... It surprised me that Alistair leveled up despite it just being Lelianna opening a chest >w<

Somehow, it feels so much less glorious to level up from a nug or book rather than killing some awesome thing.

Lol, no worries! First, Zevran levels up from opening a trunk, then he levels up from the PC giving a nug to the dwarf, then Alistair levels up when the PC finds a book. Hope that helps

hmm.. i know you can level up from opening chests and finding codex's, but a book? thats probably what you mean anyways..

Makes sense though, you gain experience in life and so you level up... but if you gain experience from everything, then wouldn't everyone in the world level up? Hm.... Experience in relation to your journeys and fighting... Okay, yeah, I guess it doesn't really make much sense then.

Yeah, my first playthrough I romanced Alistair as the elf here
Right now I'm going through a few more playthroughs so that the story goes the way I want it to for when the sequels come out. I just finished my fem!Tabris with Zevran and started a fem!Cousland with Alistair, but I'll make male characters for the girls later too

My forst game was directly a good one, I didn't know about playthroughs but i created a female Cousland and became queen
My new one is a elf mage and I will romance Zevran. Why don't you like mages? did you prefer the romance with Alistair or with Zevran? I didn't do Zevran yet... but I think I will prefer Alistair.

Well, it wasn't that I didn't like the mage, but I just didn't like how I was doing the story...or how my character looked...lol XD I still want to finish a game as a mage, though, probably as one for Morrigan
Ahh, well at first (when I was romancing Alistair), Zevran was just...kind of awkward to me, I guess? lol, I just wasn't into his whole always-flirting thing. But then when I took him to the Gauntlet and he had to answer the question from the guard, I was like "Oh, I guess he's more complex than I thought!" and I liked his character after that.
I don't know, I always thought Alistair was adorable all the way with a good dark side, but Zevran had some pretty cute moments later in the romance and he's got that interesting complex side of him, haha. I thought both were well written...lol I'm not sure if I can decide XD

I will try Zevran then, because with my Cousland I said that he had no chances with me since the beginning so he never had any romance lines with me, just friend

It's hard to please everyone, when i have Sten, Morrigan and Alistair in my party, they all have different opinions and what i do to please one displease the others... what does Sten like?

Sten...I don't know, really. I kind of gave up taking him around during dialogue parts of quests, so I just leave him in camp most of the time. The way I get approval points from him is just talking to him at camp and giving gifts of paintings...haha

I should do that too, but it seens he has inetresting dialogues with the other characters in-game if you take him with you, so I wanted to try ^^
