Description I found a lone clump of white bluebells in Micheldever Wood.
I imagine that these are a mutation of the actual blue variety (Hyacinthoides non-scripta) and are probably a recessive gene type due to the limited number there are. I walked for a mile or so in a carpet of "blue" and these were the only white ones.

I have blurred the foreground slightly and added a vignette in order to frame the subject.

beautiful! Saw hundreds of these today.. unfrotunately they were on the edge of an extremely narrow country lane, on a blind corner so didn't fancy stopping and getting gear out!

maybe they are an extremist flower cult set on radicalising the western field front? or not!

fantastic image. rare to find a group, what a great find

still got a spot for alex`s lone ranger though.

Well they are doing a good job of it. There were more this year than last so the propaganda must be effective enough to pull more survillians in....

There's this one too [link] I hate it when people send links to there own work and it is not something I make a habit of but this got very little attention even tho I really like it...??

Poor Alex, he does get alot of flak from us lot. He's not even here to defend himself...... I've probably upset the guy on one too many occasions and I don't even know him.... I am a little guilty of heavy handedness towards him....

Thanks.

Bright and overcast - perfect. Strong wind hence iso cranked. This is all I got from 2 hours work but I'm not giving up.

Thanks, glad you like it.

Just keep trying......

Great shot, I can see where you were coming from now. Unfortunately the white bluebell I found was a lonely one, and certainly didnt have the backdrop of purple like that. Theres not much to say about this one other than it pretty much perfect.

Alex
