My gray sharpie died while making this, so my mom went out and kindly tried to get another one. Can you believe people took sharpies of all things during the apocalypse? Anyway, she picked up a 60-pack of Pen + Gear 'Fine Point Permanent Markers'. They work somewhat like sharpies, the only difference being their dialed down vibrance. This wasn't a problem for something like gray, so that worked well. After that, I used the PG markers on parts of the face, which ended up looking pretty good, too. This has been the best trade deal in the history of trade deals, possibly ever! I look forward to using both the classic Sharpies as well as the new members of my little team.
