... please tell me I'm not the only one who likes this Ape in that JumpsuitA little late but better late than never, have an image of Turbo Charge Donkey Kong (+ Diddy) from the latest Skylanders Game, Superchargers. Some of you may have caught me attempting to ink it during my last Stream.
For anyone who wants my opinion, Superchargers is actually a pretty decent game. Feels kinda weird to have a game that has DK and Bowser, along with Spyro and some other characters voiced by the likes of Patrick Warburton and Richard Horvitz, but it's a pretty good time waster. I've yet to get Bowser's Skylander yet (infact I'm kinda hesitant to get one after all the horror stories), but at least the DK Skylander I got looks good enough.

Just an FYI, but he (and Hammer Slam Bowser) can only be playable on Nintendo versions of the game. That means we can't see him on PS3, as much as we'd love to, Wreck-It Ralph style.

Samus huh? That's kind of an unorthodox pick for a potential Skylander but that'd be pretty sweet to see.

well kirby, peach and Fox were all candiates for being skylanders, but they said no to kirby because he wasn't owned by nintendo, hal does
peach, no because she was a human, and a human character among a lot of creature skylanders would feel out of place (which I can understand)
fox they said no because they didn't want that to interfere with the release of StarFox Zero (which doesn't mean shit anymore since they delayed that game too and now we missed our chance of having a Fox Skylander with his own supercharger Arwing toy GODDAMMIT NINTENDO! YOU DON'T REALIZE THE POTENTIAL HERE!!!........*ahem* )
so mario, wario and even luigi can't be skylanders for human character reasons
as for Samus, I know she's a human, but she's always in her powersuit, I figured they'd give her a special skylander suit that lets her fire endless missles, charge shots, drop bombs while in ball form and jumping does the screw attack
I'm just saying, a Samus skylander would be boss (not to mention a great love letter to metroid fans with all the attacks she could do and even give us all that badass samus action we've been craving)
oh sorry for rambling so much XD I'm a huge skylander fan and the potential for this game is huge

I kinda call bullshit on Wario not being skylander worthy because, let's be fair here he's barely human already. Also the fact he has so much at his disposal, it'd be kind of a waste not to have him there in some form.
but in any case I'm not gonna get too big into it cuz unlike you I only really bothered to try this new Skylanders for DK & Bowser. Unless they decide to do more like that then that's probably gonna be it for me xD

It was cool seeing DK wearing actual clothes. The only time we've seen him wear something other than a tie was in Super Mario strikers and DK Jr. (not sure if that last one counts since it might not be the same DK).

I have no interest to play the Skylanders series, but if I had any, I would totally buy the Wii U version of SuperChargers just to play as Donkey Kong.

that's fair. I mean I had no interest in Skylanders before they announced the Nintendo Guest Stars for Superchargers so, that's why I gave it a chance. It's pretty much the exact same reason I gave Soul Calibur a chance when Link was announced as a Guest Star in 2. xD

I've seen a few images of Bowser's Skylander unboxed and all, and a lot of them look far from pleasant. Mostly derp faces, and one of them even went without a freaking nose, so he looks like a butt-faced abomination xD;

If you're gonna do so, get the Wii U Version with DK first. Bowser's only available in the Wii & 3DS Versions which are pretty much straight Mario Kart Knock-Offs (granted the Wii U has a racing mode much like Mario Kart but it has a full-fledged Adventure Mode too)

The two of them look so cool! I never really played this Skylanders stuff, but maybe I should observe the gameplay of Bowser and DK in it first before I wish to by the game for Wii U.

I would recommend getting DK first, because he's exclusive to the Starter Pack of the Wii U Superchargers, which has an actual Adventure Mode. Bowser's exclusive to the Starter Packs of the Wii and 3DS Versions, which strip the Adventure and make it a strict Mario Kart Clone.
