I've yet to see anything quite like this on here, so to me this is an original concept. I like this piece, so I'd be happy to give you my own analysis.
The components to this piece are chosen well in terms of balance and creating a 'natural' look. You are right about the exposed copper on silver decal, it does enhance the natural look on the pendant. However, the curvature of the C seems rather stiff. Was the metal wire too hard to work with? I feel that the pendant's shape could be improved. Another limitation is the actual size. Size is an important element to consider with pendants. I can't determine the size of this pendant by the photo given, so I can't give it a fair grade on vision or technique.
The technique on this piece seems firm and acceptable. I do feel that the branched beads are a nice touch, but not necessarily a sound one. With wire jewelry, one of the biggest concerns is getting it caught on something - such as yourself. I get this feeling of risk when I think of wearing this, and that isn't appealing. I'm sure it won't do that, but I do suggest giving that perception consideration. Also the pendant looks a little off-balance by that slight curve at the top of the C.
I do feel that the piece gives a natural vibe. The leaf beads, birds nest, and copper trunk hue help extenuate this feeling.
Overall, I believe its the minor details that swayed my opinion to this extent, but that's what matters most in art. I do like this idea. Keep up the great work!
