Description Pressed Czech Glass in a sort of knot looking shape, hand wrapped with brass.

If I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times... Brass is awful to work with. It's a full hard wire so it takes so much work to get it to wrap tightly. My hands ached by the time i'd finished this and I managed to slice my finger open (not to the point of bleeding, but just enough to hurt).

Turned out pretty though, even better looking than I had pictured in my head when I started, so it was worth it.

(But thank god my dead soft jewelers bronze wire got here last night. It looks the same as brass but is sooo much easier to work with )

Thank you

And yikes! I believe it. I accidentally bought some steel once (the packaging was not clear and they kept it with the copper wire, what was I supposed to think? )

Hmmm... This seems to be a common problem. It's obviously a plot so that fellow jewelers will have something to complain about to each other when they meet.

... It's like a secret handshake.

"What did you buy wrong?"

"Galvanized Steel instead of aluminum. You?"

"German Steel instead of copper."

"..." "Sisters!"

Yes, I'm weird. I know it.

No worries. We can be weird sisters as well as jewelry sisters.

(lol! Wyrd Sisters! I'm also a bit of a nerd, it feels only fair to warn you)

I love this! The symbol on the glass looks like a trisekelion, a symbol that I love very much! (I also like the 9 loops, I have a thing with nines)

Even if it was difficult (and painful) to make, it came out lovely. The green of the pressed glass and the brass look classy together, and you did a great job getting the wire wrapping tight, even, and attractive.
