Description
This was an interesting red adventurine bead that I found (I always find it funny they call it red adventurine... it looks more orange than red to me... but meh ).

The beads have been sitting on my desk since I couldn't bring myself to just throw them in my stash because then I'd never get around to doing something with them. And they have been mocking me. "You bought us but you have no idea what to do with us, neener-neener-boo-boo" (apparently these beads have the maturity level equivalent of a 5 year old in my mind...)

But this weekend, I was looking at them and it suddenly occur ed to me that my problem was that every design I imagined had been with the brighter wires... For some reason I never imagined the designs with oxidized wire.

So I parked my ass at the table, grabbed jewelers bronze and copper and got to work.

And viola! Pretty pendant!
