I was supposed to be cleaning out my WIP folder, and I ended up starting something entirely new.It happens.
*EDIT* This was drawn before Sode no Shirayuki had an "official" design in the anime.

That's really really cool. 8D It's like the white pattern on the sleeves is coming alive and off the cloth! I also love how the white is eating up her black hair.

But I only like the anime version in fanart form.....artists other than the ones for the anime seem to do a better job at portraying this character than the people they hired.
Those people should all be fired, and you hired in their place. ^_^

I was very unhappy when I saw the anime design. I really imagined her differently (obviously) but that's why fanart is amazing

First off, i was really happy when I clicked here and saw that I had already favorited it! 
Next: I have to agree with a previous commenter-she doesn't remind me of Rukia. Just...something about her. However, by herself, she's gorgeous. I love the whole piece, it is just perfect, it comes together beautifully, and my only question is what are the two red marks on her face?
And don't worry XD I'm sure that if Kubo does Yuki-chan in the manga she will look awesome. X) After all, the anime does simplify designs for a reason. (At least, that's what I keep telling myself...)

I prefer this design. Anyway the zampakuto arc is not canon. Zabimaru and Hyorinmaru changed, and Zangetsu is supposed to have a different form in Bankai.

yeah, I don't hate the way they did her in the anime - I just think doing her all white is a really obvious way to personify her. When i was trying to decide what she should look like I thought she would be a lot more interesting if her name were taken literally - and she really just has white on her sleeves...

Thank you! It was fun, and I think that I must work with my digital art the same way I treat my traditonal work - because a lot of people ask me what medium I used on pieces that are digital. I don't know any of those tricks that accomplished digital artists use to make their lives easier, haha.
